Inspection Report from last meeting:
It is in great shape, here is a list of new or recertified items that have been fixed and replaced. Left mag had bad coil (had arc breakdown eating away at it hence weak spark and dirty plugs)was replaced. (Ia wing & rotor - annual) Both mags needed gap and dwell adjusted.(Ia wing and rotor annual) Altimiter failed its check so another was procured on the used recertified market and installed; passed check.(Chris ordered, Jim delivered and Landmark installed)
Steering end rod bearings were worn and new parts were ordered and replaced (landmark - Ryan)Requested refill damper if needed and tighten all elements. The damper had been checked and passed at( Ia wing & rotor at the annual.) Carb work ( wasn't the true culprit) cleaned and fixed air leak at flap bearing at Landmark. New landing lamps (ia wing and rotor) substituted a type that has a longer lifetime (helecoper nose lamps)
Issues: Find an extender for tire air valves to help with filling them.Links:
